Blue Eyed Sunshine

Its been awhile since I have updated our blog so here goes...Today Max had his 4 month checkup. Mr Happy himself is in the 90th percentile all the way around. He is just a big healthy kid and its wonderful. Everytime we are out in public people think he is atleast 6months old...so fun! He got to start rice cereal today and he did a pretty good job. But this is a whole new ball game. He has really started to use his hands a lot and grab at everything. So it was a bit of a challenge to get the spoon in his mouth without getting rice all over his hands. My favorite part was when he motor-boated the rice cereal all over the place. It was so cute. Its so crazy how time flies. He changes and becomes a whole new baby every week. He becomes more like a little boy daily. Its so exciting to see him learn new things. He sits up and loves to stand. He loves to play with his toys and is quite the little jibber jabber. He smiles and giggles when we play peek-a-boo. He absolutely goes crazy in his jumperoo and thinks he is something else when he gets going. Max loves when daddy reads to him. He latest thing is to fake a cough when he wants extra attention. It cracks me up.
Grandma Helion calls Max her blue eyed sunshine. It still shocks me that Mike and I had a blue eyed baby but its so cool. I would have never guessed. He feels my heart up with so much happiness everytime he looks at me. We go everywhere...we went to the utes parade downtown, jager's bday party, out and about all over town. He is a good little traveler. So grateful we can go places...however that might all change when he becomes mobile.
Mommy has gone a little over board in hat dept. But he just looks so cute in them. They show off his great big eyes and his super long eye lashes. I need to make just a hat slideshow....and I thought I was bad with matching binkies.

I love the one with Max and Mike reading that HUGE book. I absolutely love catching father and son moments. They are so precious! I, of course, also love the one in the Janie and Jack vest. I am a bit partial. :) He is adorable!
