Oh how everything changes

I am absolutely amazed how everything changes once you've had a baby..in such an amazing way. Every conversation you have is about your baby, everything you see reminds you of your baby..everything everything is about your baby and you love it. I don't think I have ever been happier.
Right now the highlight of my life is Max is smiling. It is so increibly cute..his eyes light up and he has a dimple on his left cheek. He is so happy..especially in the morning. The other day he was fast asleep and dreaming. He was pulling all sorts of faces when all of the sudden he broke into the biggest grin. His belly and shoulders were shaking..he was totally laughing in his sleep without making a sound...it was so darling. He talks and talks especially to his mobile. He smiles everytime he sees Mike or I...and we both melt. I love that he can recognize us...I am so in love.
This week he went tailgating at the Utes vs BYU game. We just dropped in for about 1/2 hour to hang out ..it was such a nice day. Max just stayed all cozy in his stroller. It was nice to get out. He was all decked out in his Utah gear and fully supporting his daddy's team. As you can see I love to dress him. I seriously look forward to picking out his outfit for the day. I am a little obsessive..his binky's even have to match. But to most who know me that isn't surprising! I just can't help myself when he looks so damn cute. He finally got to me Kim. I was so excited for her to see him. Kristie and Coco came down as well. We had such a fun day together. I couldn't believe how much bigger Max was than Coco and she is a month older. She is so tiny and petite. She felt like a feather in my arms. When Kristie said Coco weighs 9lbs now I had to immediately go weigh Max. I had been waiting for his 2month appnt to see how much he weighed. I figured prob 10lbs maybe 11. So you can imagine how shocked I was to find out Max weighs almost 14lbs. Cracked me up, the little chunk. He is so solid. Totally explains why my back has been hurting.
Its so hard to exclude any photo of Max so once again prepare yourselves for another long slideshow...damn I have a cute kid!!!

Hipsy Baby

Introducing my new line "Hipsy Baby". I have just recently started a fun and hip line of baby gift sets. All my sets are custom made and can be custom ordered as well. So if you or someone you know has a baby or is going to have a baby..then I have the perfect gift. I custom design hip and fun "hipsies", as I call them (hip onesies), with matching burp cloths and/or receiving blankets. It all started when I couldn't find fun modern or funky boys stuff for Max. It drove me crazy that my options were baby blue, mint green or baby blue. :) You can only take so much. So I started making my own recieving blankets and cool onesies for him. I got so many compliments that I thought I would see if there were other moms out there like me. Turns out there are quite a few! I also found that people who order from me love to give them as baby shower gifts because they are so unique and original. Plus its one-stop shopping, you don't even have to think about it because its a complete gift set. I can create you or someone you know the cutest baby set out there. I can match nursery colors or do themes...for example...say the daddy is a golfer. I could custom a golf "Hipsy" and burp cloth set. So much fun!!! I do great big sets (photos to come) to smaller sets (photos below)...something for every price range.
I just had my 1st boutique and it was a blast. Six artist got together and held a X-mas boutique last Sat. My friend Amber creates beautiful blown glass and scrap glass jewelry. The other artists items included hand made scarves, custom wall frames, ribbon blankets, etc. It was so much fun to see so much talent and unique hand made items . Perfect Xmas gifts!!! The turnout was incredible. I sold almost every item I made and took a few orders too.
I thought I would show everyone a little of what I have made so far. Excuse the last minute photos...I hope to get professional photos done soon. But at least it shows you a little of what I do!

1 month old, Can you believe it?

I can hardly believe Max is 1 month old. Mike and I can't even imagine life without him....why did we wait so long to have a baby? If I would have known how amazing it is we would have started sooner :) Max is becoming more and more alert every day...its so fun to hang out with him when he is wide awake. He is quite the talker and definitely doesnt like to be left alone. The minute I walk away he gets upset until he can see me again. Very much like his mama. Today he smiled for real (not that gas induced smile) a real smile where even his eyes twinkled at me. He has a little dimple in the corner of his mouth. It was so cute. He kept trying to smile again for several minutes but all he could get to happen was make himself go cross eyed. It was pretty entertaining and made my entire day. Max loves his daddy and Mike loves his boy. For the 1st time ever MIke bypassed a Halloween Party to stay home and hang out with Max so I could go. If you knew how much Mike loves Halloween and a party you would understand exactly how much that says ..lol! Some of my fav Max moments are giving him his bath...he loves it. He just feels so tiny in my arms. I love how good he smells after, how his eyelashes clump together when they are wet, and how content and happy he is when I am washing his lil baby hair. He is the best thing that has ever happend to us!!

Happy Halloween!

Mike and I absolutely love Halloween...its one of our favorite holidays. So this Halloween was especially fun for us because we have Max here to celebrate with us. We took Max trick or treating with his friends Corbin, Cayman and Jager. It was a pretty fun night hanging with the little ones in their cute costumes. I love how excited they get over the mass amounts of candy. Corbin's bag was almost as big as he is and was more than half full. Can you say sugar rush...Nikki will definitley have her hands full.
I love puppies so of course I had to make Max the cutest puppy ever! He was so happy and cozy in his costume...he just hated the hat. Or maybe just how much I fussed over keeping it on straight. He looked so adorable...oh man Mike and I just love him to pieces! And can't help but love his Halloween day outfit. That black owl hat was so damn cute!! I couldn't help but laugh every time I looked at him. It was so fun to dress him up...here's to Max's1st Halloween and how much MIke and I enjoyed it!!!!
