The Sepia colored one is one of my
favorites of the photos I took.
I think I love it so much because this is the look Max gives me in the morning when I am going to get him out of his bed. Its the "hey there you are mom..are you going to pick me up?" look. Its the look he gives me right after the great big smile he gives me when he is so happy to see me....his arms lift up and his body gets stiff so I can pick him up. He looks so much like Mike's baby pictures but I think he has my mouth. Everyday there seems to be more and more traces of me in him. I can't quite figure it out but I know something about him reminds me of me in my baby photos. Its definitely not the eyes or the nose...those are both sooooo Mike. If Max had Mike's eye brows their baby photos would almost be identical.
Max is so funny lately. I sing this little "la la la la la" song to him. And as soon as he hears it he smiles so big and sings it back to me. Its is so adorable..he trys to stick his tongue out in the "la" motion and he totally sings back to me. Its pretty amazing...Dalanie couldn't believe it when we preformed it for her. I think Max just likes music...if he cries the minute I sing to him he settles down. Maybe we have a future rock star on our hands...Helion is always saying he has the hands of a pianist.....
Boy this was some serious blogging today!!!!

Max in his cute red hat....I think I am going to have Michael print this as a set. He can do some really great things. They would look so cute in Max's room. I just realized the full disription of what all these pictures are (the1st blog I wrote tonight) is going to appear as the last....so as you are reading my blog you might wonder why the hell I have posted so many pictures....Scroll down and you will see. These are a few pics I took. Here is the serious side of Max...he was definitely putting up with his maniac of a mother by this point. Still being a a very good sport but not quite his super smiley self. Boy do I love this little boy!!!

And here are some in color....isn't Max so damn cute!! I am bummed that when I shadowed the pictures it darkend his eyes. In the originals they were so blue. Well here is a preview of Max if his eyes do turn brown. I love the one of him and Mike alone. Its so Mike!

Photo shoot

We had a photo shoot at Dalanie and Michael's house on Monday. They set up the lights and back drop and the picture taking frenzy began!! It was so fun. Max was soooo tired but he did so good. I am always amazed at what a good baby he is. We got so many good shots I have no idea what ones to print. Michael and Dalanie did such a good job taking some really great pictures. Michael also handed over the camera to me and I went crazy. I am such a maniac and perfectionist...just ask Mike. I downloaded picasa 3 from google and croped a bunch and played with it for a few days. So here is our group colaborated photo shoot. The pictures turned out so great and I love so many....now which ones to print? Do I keep them in color or black and white? I am taking suggestions....here is one of many pictures collages to post!!!

2 months and growing!

Growing and growing and growing. Max is officially in 3-6months clothing now. Shirts and Jammies that fit him last week and too small this week. That is so crazy. I couldn't believe that his jammies were too small..it happend so fast. It kind of made me sad and I would have been more sad except the new things he has learned are so cute to watch that it made up for it. He has found his hands and loves to suck on them. In the morning I can hear his little slurp sounds. He is grabing for and swatting his toys and his little arms and legs dance when he is excited. I love how in the morning he will cry until he sees me (or maybe the bottle) and then instantly breaks into the biggest grin. He definitely recognizes Mike and I and that is the best feeling in the world. He has found his tongue and loves to stick it out and lick things. And I LOVE how much he jabbers now. He has found his voice and talks so loud. He will tell Mike and I the longest stories. Like mother like son. Mike may never ever get another peaceful sporting event! And like father like son..Max seriously watches TV with Mike. I came downstairs the other night and there the two of them sat glued to the TV. It was so hilrious I had to take a picture. Apperantly its already time to invest in some educational DVD's. And finally one of the nicest things about him growing is how much better he sleeps! He is just so happy and content. Even when his eyes and eye brows are so red because he is so sleepy he still smiles.
I can't wait to see whats next..and in the meantime we are enjoying every moment.
