Months 4 and 5!

I can't believe Max is almost 6 months old. This ages is sooooo much fun! He has learned to sit up all by himself...he looks like such a big boy when he does. He still tips over here and there but for the most part he is a pretty sturdy little guy. He is still in the 90th percentile. He now weighs almost 21lbs and in 12 month clothing. He is teething so much..he is going to cut 1 maybe 2 teeth any day. Its an Armenian tradition to throw a party when it happens. I am so excited for him to get teeth because he is such a grinner. Its so cute to see them smile with teeth. He smiles at everyone. He even smiles in his sleep all the time. We were in the waiting room at Cadillac and every time someone came in he would shriek and giggle until they looked at him ..then lay the biggest grin on them. It was adorable. He already thinks he is the center of attention...such a daddy trait. He is so fun...he loves to play peek-a-boo. Especially in the shopping cart or with his blankey. I am that idiot at the grocery store that runs into displays because I am too busy playing peek-a-boo..but I can't help it. Its so freaking cute!!!! He is such a blanket boy..I mean he LOVES his blanket. He squelas, hugs and kisses his blanket for about 5 min everytime I give it to him. I felt bad because the other day Max thought my friend Jen's scarf was a blanket. She thought he was giving her loves..until he came up for air and we saw the slobber marks all over it. They we realized he wasn't hugging her as much as he was making out with her scarf. So damn cute. He loves books however he is more interested in turning the pages. I bought him a doggie book because he smiles so big every time some one says "woof woof". Other than his blanket his other favorite toy is his toes. He loves to be naked and grab them. He looks like a little cherub when he does. He especially looks like he belongs on a fountain when he pees while playing. The funniset part is his aim is always at his own face. It still makes Mike and I laugh. Just when you think he is empty he starts again. He is a total boy and loves when daddy tosses him or when they play "rough". He is so ticklish too. Max is so smart if you ask him where your nose is he will look right at it and grab it. No one believed me until they saw it themselves and it was no mistake or reflex. Not to mention the countless hours I play that game with him. But at any rate Mike and I were so proud! Max jabbers and jabbers non stop..totally a mommy trait :) I love it becasue I never feel alone. It makes our house feel like such a warm cozy place. He is also mommy's lil co-pilot. He loves to be on the go. Yesterday he was cranky and I had to set him down in his car seat so I coulod get the high chair ready....oh my gosh the minute I set him in it he squealed in delight and grabbed his toes in excitement. The weather has been so nice we have gone on walks a lot lately. I am so excited to get Max a little pool for the summertime. He is such a whitey though I will need to keep my house stocked up with Sunscreen. We are loving this age and how much personality they have. He is just the best part of us!
